So it's been awhile since my last tutorial because I haven't had any cake pop orders lately. Buttttt.... I have an order this weekend for 50 cake pops. On average, I get about 40-45 cake pops, so that means I have to make 2 cakes and will have lots of leftover cake to experiment with.
I was thinking of making some cupcake bites. Here's some I made a few months ago. I had just bought some new candy dye, so I had a lot of fun making different color combinations.
Would that be interesting? Or do you guys have any other ideas? I love trying out different methods and techniques, so I'm pretty open to new suggestions. Just nothing toooo crazy, haha.
Thoughts?

I for one would love to see a tutorial on the green eggs and ham pops you did!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes i would like to see how you do your cupcake bites. I am having a hard time making this. Please.... Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove them! How did you do the bottoms? They look like cupcake wrappers.
ReplyDeleteAlexandra - First, using a food safe paint brush, I painted the designs on the mold with the different colors of melted candy. I let that sit for about 5 minutes, then I poured in more melted candy, to insert the cake ball (see tutorial posted on 7/30). Hope that helps :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you make the candy the bright pink and purple?
