It’s been a long time coming, and I’ve been talking about it for ages, but I’ve finally put pen to paper (so to speak) and started a blog. I’ve been trepidatious for the longest time about actually starting one of these things… do I have a unique view point? What will separate me from the thousands (millions?) of other bloggers out there? How will I get a following? Anyways, I figured it was time to “put up or shut up” and test the waters – so here I am, blogging, yay!
Sidebar: spell-check is saying “trepidatious” isn’t a word, and I’m having trouble finding a definition from a reputable source... shocking! Maybe I heard it on TV or something? Hmm...
My goal for this blog is to for it to be a personal extension of my brand, KC Bakes. We officially launched our Cake Pop Stand business about two months ago, and we’re absolutely humbled by the response we’ve experienced so far. We’ve gotten emails from throught the U.S. and all over the world - Canada, London, Belgium, Australia, Manila (which, FYI, is in the Philippines... I’m embarrassed to admit I had to Google that one; many apologies to my seventh grade geography teacher, Mr. Campbell!). I’ve really enjoyed getting to know so many of you bakers out there, so this is just another way to help you get to know me, and KC Bakes!
xoxo,
Kim
Ps: I’ve officially added trepidatious to my spell-check dictionary, so that I stop getting the red squiggly underline telling me I’m wrong. From here on out, I’m standing firm that it IS a word… take that spell-check!
