Time to get "Real"

Ok, if we are going to be blog-buddies, there's one thing I must confess: I am hopelessly in love with some really random tv shows, all of which can be categorized as "reality tv". 

I don't know what it is about some of these programs. I'm a smart girl, I fully acknowledget that some most of them are far from any reality I experience.  But after watching one episode, I'm totally sucked in! Here's a sampling of some of the shows in my DVR...

- Bethenny Ever After
- Survivor
- Ice Road Truckers
- Storage Wars
- 16 & Pregnant/Teen Mom
- America's Next Top Model
- Real Housewives of New York
       (and New Jersey, Beverly Hills and Washington, DC)
- Any cooking competition show
       (Top Chef, Master Chef, Next Iron Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Iron Chef America)

Now don't get the wrong idea, I'm not a TV zombie; all of these shows don't air at the same time... but hey, I could have worse vices, right? :-)

    I am a reality show junkie too. I watch The Bachelorette (not really reality but makes me feel really smart when I see all the dumb stuff they do), Biggest Loser, Repo, and like you, basically any cooking competition show (especially Cupcake Wars).

    Me too! I watch most of the of the shows you mentioned as well as So You Think You Can Dance. My other guilty pleasure is Toddlers & Tiaras...I just can't help myself!

    You are not the only one! I have been sucked into mostnof your list, plus The Biggest Loser (I'm a sucker for weight loss shows!).

    But they show us that we are all normal right? That's what they are there for :P

    I love some reality TV but my new favorite is my big fat gypsy wedding....OMG! It is on TLC and I can't get enough!

    I have a friend on Master Chef this season. His name is Derrek and he is the death metal guy....I used ot play roller derby with his wife.

    OMG! My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding is so crazy! I've watched a few of those!
    Teen Mom sucker and Extreme Couponing (aka Hoarders)! haha!
